Hadrian’s Wall

 Woodhorn Museum

The Woodhorn Museums was once the site for a coal mine which has been turned into a museum and heritage centre for local relics and art. The museum is a great chance for the whole family to learn more about the local history of Northumberland. Exploring the museum and take part in the Colliery Experience exhibition and Coal Town exhibition where you will see some of the original buildings from the Woodhorn Colliery’s pit.

Amble

Amble is a beautiful seaport town in Northumberland. When visiting Northumberland, Amble is a great place to visit. Holy Island of Lindisfarne 

Also known as Holy Island, Holy Island of Lindisfarne is a small island off the coast of the northeast of England. The island a popular day out when visiting the county of Northumberland.
