Recommended Places To Visit In The Peak District

Chatsworth House

Chatsworth House is a stately home set in the heart of the Peak District in Derbyshire, on the banks of the river Derwent;  With expansive parkland and backed by wooded, rocky hills it also offers a playground, farmyard and gardens, perfect for the whole family to enjoy on a day out.

Dovedale

A popular tourist spot, attracting 3 million visitors a year, Dovedale is a natural reserve in the Peak District. The valley has the River Dove running through it and features the iconic limestone stepping stones. There are also plenty of walking paths and thus, is a must for all walkers visiting this area of the Peak District.

Kinder Scout

At the highest point in the Peak District at 636 meters above sea level, you can expect some stunning views at Kinder Scout. It is a moorland plateau which provides a challenging but rewarding walk for visitors.

Mam Tor

Mam Tor is a 517m tall hill popular with hikers which offer great views of the valley. If you’re up for the hike, spend your day exploring the surrounding trails then hike to the top for stunning views.

Ladybower Reservoir

The Roaches

The Roaches is a rocky ridge popular with daring hikers, rock climbers and free runners. Are you up to the challenge? Located above Leek and Tittesworth reservoir int he Peak District, the rock formation rises to a steep 505 meters.
